26 Glacier Cruise
Travel by motorcoach along Turnagain Arm to Portage and through the Whittier Tunnel, the longest tunnel in North America. Tunnel through the Chugach Mountain Range and emerge in the small town of Whittier, the gateway to Prince William Sound. Board the new M/V Klondike a high-speed catamaran for a spectacular sightseeing glacier cruise. In addition to viewing 26 glaciers, you will have the opportunity to view whales, fur seals and bald eagles. This cruise will take you to Barry Arm where you will view Cascade, Barry and Cox Glaciers as well as into the Harriman Fjords and on to Surprise Glacier. Return to Whittier where a motorcoach will be standing by for the return trip to Anchorage. Lunch is included on the cruise.

Guided 4-Wheeler Tour
(ATV - all terrain vehicles)
Includes half hour transfer from hotel to the Bird Creek Trailhead where guests will be outfitted with helmets & rainwear, and given a safety briefing on the operation on the all terrain vehicles. Take a guided ride on four wheelers through the Chugach foothills. The Bird Creek area has a maze of trails winding through the temperate rainforest of the Chugach Range. The guides may choose a route that takes guests across the Penguin River up more than 2000 feet to the high alpine meadows of Hidden Valley. Or they may choose to travel to a place called "Sanctuary" where you will take a short hike down to a clear water pool and a spectacular waterfall. Bear, Moose and Eagles can also be seen in this area depending on the time of year. Trip includes round trip transfers, orientation on machines, helmet, rainwear if needed, great scenery and a lot of fun! Just bring your sense of adventure! (1.5
hr. riding time) Destination may be changed due to weather and trail conditions.

Fixed Wing Flightseeing
To get a feel for how large Alaska really is, a flightseeing tour is a must. Whichever tour you choose, either the Mt. McKinley flightseeing tour or the Columbia Glacier tour you will be awestruck by the beauty and size of Alaska. Both tours include transfers to/from the hotel and a 2.5-hour flightseeing tour. 3 persons minimum are required to operate both trips.
Mt. McKinley/Denali - Denali National Park 4 hours with transfers.

Kenai Fjords Natl. Park Wildlife & Glacier Cruise
Trip includes round trip transfers south on the Seward Highway. With the Chugach Mountain Range on one side of the highway, the tail end of the Alaska Range across the inlet and the Kenai Range in front of the coach, the views this morning will be spectacular. Guests will want to have their cameras handy, as there are usually sheep along the hillside on the drive down, and keep an eye out for moose as well. As the coach come across the flats towards Portage, see abandoned buildings and tree stumps still standing since the 1964 earthquake, which dropped the entire area over two feet. The 2.5 hour drive to Seward is scenic and incredible as the coach heads up and over the Kenai Mountain Range and through Turnagain Pass. The drive alone is worth the trip. Once in Seward, guests will board a cruise boat with inside seating and a heated cabin, for a cruise of the Kenai Fjords National Park. The cruise will offer the opportunity to view sea otters, a Stellar Sea Lion Colony, whales, Dall porpoise, bird rookeries, puffins, a tidewater glacier and unique geological formations. Lunch is included on the cruise.

Kenai River Scenic Float
This adventure also begins with a scenic drive south from Anchorage along the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet, and up over Turnagain Pass in the Kenai Mountain Range. The destination is the sleepy town of Cooper Landing, located just below Kenai Lake, at the headwaters of the world famous Kenai River. This trip offers a scenic float on the upper reaches of the Kenai River. From the emerald green water to the surrounding mountains, this day trip will expose participants to yet another beautiful area of Alaska. As rafts meander down this scenic river, keep an eye out for moose and bald eagle. This is not a whitewater float. This scenic float offers breathtaking scenery, and the opportunity for a really fun day.There are two points in the float where they will encounter some excitement with a short burst of minor rapids, but no whitewater. As the rafts come around a lazy bend in the river, the guides will ease them in to shore where the motorcoach will be standing by for the return trip to Anchorage. Enjoy a hot lunch after the float trip at a remote roadside lodge before returning to Anchorage. Trip includes roundtrip transfers, lunch, 2.5-hour float, raingear (if needed), and rubber boots.

Sea Kayaking Blackstone Bay
Trip includes round trip transfers to Whittier. Tunnel through the Chugach Mountain Range into Whittier and spend a day paddling and exploring the magnificent glacier found in Blackstone Bay. Your tour will consist of a water-taxi to the head of the bay, where a full day of guided sea kayaking in the unique tidewater glacier zone of Prince William Sound awaits you. Guides will interpret the specific features of an active calving glacier and will serve a hearty shore lunch. Return by water taxi to Whittier at the end of your journey for transfer back to Anchorage.

Portage Glacier Tour
The driver/guide will narrate the tour as the motorcoach heads south on the Seward Highway to Portage Valley. Guests will want to keep their eyes alert for beluga whales in the inlet, Dahl sheep on the mountainsides, and moose in fields or near ponds. The bald eagle is also a frequent sight along this stretch of road. Tour includes a stop in the small town of Girdwood and a tram ride to the top of Mount Alyeska (a 2300 foot climb from sea level) for a view of the Turnagain Arm and the Chugach Range. Lunch is included at the hotel. On the road into Portage, cascading waterfalls are abundant and impressive. Tour the Begich-Boggs Visitors Center, explore the many exhibits on glaciers and the area, view the award winning film "Voices from the Ice". Visit Big Game Alaska, where you will have a guided drive through tour of this Wildlife Park. This stop will provide visitors an up close and personal view of animals indigenous to Alaska. Moose, Elk, Caribou, Bison, brown bear, black bears, deer and Musk Ox are some of the wildlife at the park. After a stop for photos or to check out Big Game Alaska’s gift shop, board the motorcoach for the trip back to Anchorage.

Highlights of Anchorage Tour
Narrated tour of the highlights of Anchorage includes Lake Hood, the world’s largest floatplane base, the Port of Anchorage and the highlights of historic downtown. Learn about how the 1964 earthquake changed the face of Anchorage, as we know it today. There will be a stop will be at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art where guests will learn about the history of Alaska from the first peoples coming to Alaska across the Bearing Sea Land Bridge to present day. A docent-guided tour of the Alaska Gallery will provide guests with an informative and entertaining look at Alaska from an Alaskan point of view. Following the museum, guests will transfer to the Sourdough Mining Company, a gold rush mining themed restaurant, for a hearty lunch served family style. Following lunch, 1/2 hour will be allotted to check out the Alaska Wildberry Factory & gift shop just across the street.

Matanuska Valley Tour
Tour begins with a narrated ride from Anchorage in route to the scenic Matanuska Valley. Learn about the rich gold mining and agricultural history of this fertile area. The driver/guide will share stories of mining days past, and also enlighten passengers on the massive vegetables produced in the valley annually. The day will include a stop at the Palmer Visitors Center, as well as a reindeer farm. Williams Reindeer Farm is home to over 200 reindeer, the descendants of a herd brought from Russia in the 1890’s. The Musk Ox Farm is home to a unique domestication project, which began in 1954. Now a protected species, the Musk Ox Farm is an ideal place to observe and photograph these animals safely at close range. One of the highlights of this trip is sure to be a stop at the Iditarod Sled Dog Race Headquarters. Located in Wasilla, this is where you will learn about the history of what’s known as "the last great race". A hearty lunch will be served at the Lake Lucille Inn. The grand finale will be a visit to an actual Iditarod Race champion’s kennel, to learn more about the lifestyle of an Iditarod dog musher. This four time Iditarod champion will charm and entertain guests with antics and stories of life on the trail. The tour will depart from/return to the headquarter hotel.

Departing Seward, Alaska on Sunday, 18 May, 2003. 7 day cruise includes cruising through College Fjords in Prince William Sound, cruising Glacier Bay (near Juneau), stops in the ports of Sitka & Ketchikan, Alaska and cruising the Inside Passage with final port in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prices will start at $799 per person for inside cabins (airfare, transfers, port fees & taxes not included) and $999 for outside cabins. Cruise rate includes all activities on board the ship and all meals on the ship. Watch for the online registration site for this tour and many more when the advance program comes out in January.
   
Halibut & King Salmon Combo Fishing
Fishing charter departs from Sterling, Alaska. Self drive (rental car required) to Angler's Lodge approximately two hours south of Anchorage. Travel from Sterling with the guide to Ninilchik for guided saltwater fishing for king salmon & halibut. Fishing times vary based on high tide times (see below). Fishing charter is 6-7 hours long. Fish filet is included. Rental car required for this trip (4-hour drive south of Anchorage). Departure times vary based on tide times. Fishing for (early season) king salmon and halibut in Cook Inlet (saltwater). Guided fishing, all equipment needed to fish and fish filet are provided with the charter. Guests provide lunch, beverages, fishing license & king salmon tags, as well as rain gear and waterproof footwear.

City of Seward Day Tour
Depart from Anchorage heading south on the Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet. With the Chugach Mountain Range on one side of the highway, a glimpse of the Alaska Range across the inlet and the Kenai Range in front of the coach, the views will be spectacular. Keep an eye out for sheep, moose and eagles. The three-hour drive to Seward will travel up and over the Kenai Mountain Range through scenic Turnagain Pass. This scenic drive alone is worth the trip. On arrival in Seward, the first stop will be at the Small Boat Harbor to check out a few of the gift shops or perhaps have a snack or beverage at one of several restaurants. Visit the Alaska SeaLife Center for a one-hour self-guided tour of the Center. Lunch is included and weather permitting, there will also be a stop at Exit Glacier for a .5 mile hike/walk (easy) to the face of a towering piedmont glacier. Trip includes hot lunch and an Alaskan souvenir.
